Disclosure Statement
Source: This disclosure statement has been adapted from fourhourworkweek.com – the blog of Tim Ferriss. Tim has been generous enough to allow others to use his text and images. What you see below is an adaption from that text revised and applied to livefortodayfitness.com.
our disclosure:
First, the obvious: We are a fitness and nutrition coaching business. This business has been created with the intention of becoming our sole income source. We will provide free information on the blog, and we definitely want to help people achieve their goals regardless of how much money it makes for us, but we won’t pretend that we’re not in this at least in part to make an income.
Along with helping people, the information we provide is provided with the intention of driving traffic to the services and products (future) that we offer.
Second, the less obvious: Per the FTC rules, if we interview someone and they grab the bill for lunch, we would need to disclose this. Ditto if we use an Amazon link that makes us 8 cents instead of an Amazon link that makes us 0 cents. If someone gives one of us a comfy t-shirt with a logo and we wear it in a photo, same deal. Disclaimers all over the place. This would be tedious for us and even more tedious for readers. But rules is rules. To cover ourselves and preserve your reading experience, please assume that, for every link and product we use, the following all hold true:
Please visit Tim Ferriss' disclosure page for the original text and images. He has stated that others should feel free to use the text and images from his disclosure with proper attribution.
